lyrics

Blood pumps through bare limbs of oak,
Quickening my heart, returning my pride,
The grey-scale labyrinth of the woodlands at night,
Sings a siren's song guiding me home.
I yearn to loose myself under snow laden limbs,
As fear takes flight - Southbound memories.
The wind calms my mind and the wolf steals my heart,
I find strength in my frostbitten soul.

I now know the pitiful fear that lead man,
To dream of a god who forged the world.
For what grand destiny could there be for man,
If nature birthed this haunting beauty alone?
